We invest, manage, and advise public and private companies.  Our specialties are technical, biotech, and cyclical industries.  We also invest in arbitrage, takeovers and spinoffs.    

We use a variety of trading techniques to enhance performance.  We use options, derivatives, foreign exchange and synthetic products.  Usually, we employ a continuous call writing program against our positions, adjusting the strike prices depending upon our view of the market.  In many cases we overwrite our positions with call options.  Often times we acquire our positions through a continuous put writing program.  

In arbitrage situations, we usually write options against our positions, capturing premiums above the acquisition price.  In hostile takeovers, we may sell premium using a variety of puts and calls.  

We always have some long, short exposure, believing it is better to live another day than riding one horse over the cliff.  We are able to sleep well at night in all market environments.
